Velos for NODE + Chroma
Velos is a color matching and collecting application for the NODE + Chroma Bluetooth interchangeable sensor platform. Simple, accurate, and elegant, Velos is ideal for use in product manufacture, quality control, industrial design, as well as paint-matching.
By using NODE + Chroma device to compute CIE L*a*b* values regardless of ambient light, Velos makes color matching - formerly a qualitative inspection performed “by eye” - a pinpoint-accurate, standardized operation.
Simply power up your NODE + Chroma device and start the application. When the Bluetooth connection is made between the NODE and your device, tap "Set Target" while aiming the NODE at your Target color. Alternately, you may input the Target CIE L*a*b* values in the fields.
Next, aim the NODE at an object and tap "Scan Actual" to compare color values and difference % between the Target color and the Actual object.
